Hi friends! My name is Kada Barbour and I am the owner and artist of Brow House KC!

I am an Army Vet and former Pittsburg State University Gorilla. I absolutely love the Midwest but a piece of my heart resides with the rest of my family in the Hawaiian Islands. I have a crazy obsession with miniature daschunds and if you follow my business on Instagram then maybe you get to see some of it along with my chubby guy, Rooster, and his much larger twin brother, Kiah the Doberman! So, if you have an animal love like me, bring those fur baby photos when we meet! I am newly married to my best friend, Shayna, who helps me run my business and keeps me laughing at home and while at work.

Eyebrows have always been my jam! I can remember my mom telling me to go wipe off the (very) intense black eyeliner pencil from my brows in middle school! I consider myself a Master Permanent Make Up Artist and Educator. After graduating and receiving my commission from Pittsburg State, I moved to Arizona for Army Intelligence School. After living in Tucson for a few years I started my career in the spring of 2017 and opened up Brow House KC here in Kansas City later that summer. Continuing education is one of the most important aspects of the ever growing PMU industry and I have been lucky enough to train in some of the best permanent make up academy's in the U.S. and will continue to grow, learn, and evolve as an artist. I have been insanely lucky & humbled to have worked on over 1,500 clients here in Kansas City since opening in 2017.

Permanent Make Up has been my passion and I will always work hard to make sure that every person that walks in my studio leaves feeling confident, empowered and beautiful! As well as continuing my own education within this industry as often as possible and striving to be the best educator I can to fellow artists.

This industry has without a doubt changed the course of my life and I am forever grateful to the clients, artists and friends I have met. You all rock and I cannot wait to meet you!
